About
Much of my testing and learning of WordPress has slowed way down so I have decided to begin posting some of the videos I shoot and edit as a hobby. Striving to be better with video I have adopted the motto “Shoot Twice Cut Once”. A carpenter friend of mine told me many years ago to measure twice and cut once. I never did to well at carpenter work and so far it holds true with video work. Below is the old “About” page and some of the testing with WordPress at times may go on, so if you come here and everything looks all hosed-up just check back later b/c TESTING will be in progress. Enjoy!

I use this website to test and/or learn about WordPress, themes, and plug-ins. I will not be entering post on a regular bases so no need to check back. I only post what I need to test whatever I am testing or learning.
I began building websites around 1999 using Note Pad as a editor and Microsoft Internet Explore as a viewer. I used what was free at the time Paint Shop Pro to build graphics. I was very into Microsoft Flight Simulator at the time and building some add-on scenery for the Cayman Islands. I was flying for a virtual airline called Tradewind Caribbean Airlines when ask if I could contribute by building a page that was added to the main TCA website to make my scenery available for others. That’s how and why I started building websites, as hobby. A few years later I starting building websites for church’s and missionaries. I have spent thousands of hours and lots of dollars and never asked for a dime to get theirs sites up and keep them up.
In 2008 I need a Content Manage System (CMS) to build a site so I started looking at Joomla and WordPress to do the job. Joomla had a number of features that I needed over WordPress so I went with Joomla. My son got me more and more interested in WordPress and now that is all I use to build websites with and want use anything else. That is not to say WordPress is the best thing to use in all cases, its just all I am going to use from now on. I am a simple person and like to keep life simple. So needing a good theme for WordPress I have turned to StudioPress who I think is one of the best, not only are their themes great but their support is maybe the best there is on the internet. Support is everything and both WordPress and StudioPress have great support so why use anything else.
